Gita 9.1-2idaṃ tu te guhyatamaṃ pravakṣyāmyanasūyave | jñānaṃ vijñānasahitaṃ yajjñātvā mokThe Blessed Lord said: To you who do not cavil I shall declare this most secret knowledge together with realisation, knoGita 9.3aśraddadhānāḥ puruṣā dharmasyāsya parantapa | aprāpya māṃ nivartante mṛtyusaṃsārPeople without faith in this dharma, O scorcher of foes, not attaining Me, return to the path of death and rebirth.Gita 9.4-5mayā tatamidaṃ sarvaṃ jagadavyaktamūrtinā | matsthāni sarvabhūtāni na cāhaṃ teṣvBy Me, in My unmanifest form, all this world is pervaded; all beings abide in Me, but I do not abide in them. Gita 9.9-10na ca māṃ tāni karmāṇi nibadhnanti dhanañjaya | udāsīnavadāsīnamasaktaṃ teṣu karNor do these actions bind Me, O Dhananjaya, seated as one indifferent, unattached to those actions. Under My supervisionGita 9.11-12avajānanti māṃ mūḍhā mānuṣīṃ tanumāśritam | paraṃ bhāvamajānanto mama bhūtamaheśThe deluded despise Me dwelling in human form, not knowing My higher nature as the great Lord of beings. Of vain hopes, Gita 9.13-14mahātmānastu māṃ pārtha daivīṃ prakṛtimāśritāḥ | bhajantyananyamanaso jñātvā bhūBut the great souls, O Partha, partaking of the divine nature, worship Me with undistracted mind, knowing Me as the impeGita 9.15jñānayajñena cāpyanye yajanto māmupāsate | ekatvena pṛthaktvena bahudhā viśvatomOthers, sacrificing with the sacrifice of knowledge, worship Me as the One, as the distinct, as the manifold, facing in Gita 9.16-19ahaṃ kraturahaṃ yajñaḥ svadhāhamahamauṣadham | mantro'hamahamevājyamahamagnirahaI am the ritual, I am the sacrifice, the offering to the ancestors, the medicinal herb, the mantra; I am the clarified bGita 9.20-21traividyā māṃ somapāḥ pūtapāpā yajñairiṣṭvā svargatiṃ prārthayante | te puṇyamāsKnowers of the three Vedas, soma-drinkers purified of sin, worshipping Me with sacrifices, pray for the way to heaven; rGita 9.22ananyāścintayanto māṃ ye janāḥ paryupāsate | teṣāṃ nityābhiyuktānāṃ yogakṣemaṃ vTo those who worship Me alone, thinking of no other, ever harmonised, I carry what they lack and preserve what they haveGita 9.23-24ye'pyanyadevatā bhaktā yajante śraddhayānvitāḥ | te'pi māmeva kaunteya yajantyavEven devotees of other gods who sacrifice endowed with faith, they too worship Me alone, O son of Kunti, though not accoGita 9.25yānti devavratā devānpitṝnyānti pitṛvratāḥ | bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā yānti madyājWorshippers of the gods go to the gods; worshippers of the ancestors go to the ancestors; worshippers of the spirits go Gita 9.26patraṃ puṣpaṃ phalaṃ toyaṃ yo me bhaktyā prayacchati | tadahaṃ bhaktyupahṛtamaśnWhoever offers Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water, that offering of love from the pure-hearted, I acceGita 9.27yatkaroṣi yadaśnāsi yajjuhoṣi dadāsi yat | yattapasyasi kaunteya tatkuruṣva madaWhatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer, whatever you give, whatever austerity you practise, O son of KuntGita 9.28śubhāśubhaphalairevaṃ mokṣyase karmabandhanaiḥ | saṃnyāsayogayuktātmā vimukto māThus you shall be freed from the bonds of action, with its good and evil fruits; with the self harmonised by the yoga ofGita 9.29samo'haṃ sarvabhūteṣu na me dveṣyo'sti na priyaḥ | ye bhajanti tu māṃ bhaktyā maI am the same toward all beings; none is hateful to Me, none dear. But those who worship Me with devotion, they are in MGita 9.30-31api cetsudurācāro bhajate māmananyabhāk | sādhureva sa mantavyaḥ samyagvyavasitoEven if one of very evil conduct worships Me with undivided devotion, that one must be regarded as righteous, for such aGita 9.32-33māṃ hi pārtha vyapāśritya ye'pi syuḥ pāpayonayaḥ | striyo vaiśyāstathā śūdrāste'For those who take refuge in Me, O Partha, though they be of lowly birth, women, vaishyas, or shudras, even they reach tGita 9.34manmanā bhava madbhakto madyājī māṃ namaskuru | māmevaiṣyasi yuktvaivamātmānaṃ mFix your mind on Me, be My devotee, sacrifice to Me, bow to Me; thus harmonising yourself, holding Me as the supreme goa
