Bhagavad Gita 9.7-8
Sanskrit
सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम् । कल्पक्षये पुनस्तानि कल्पादौ विसृजाम्यहम् ॥9.7॥प्रकृतिं स्वामवष्टभ्य विसृजामि पुनः पुनः । भूतग्राममिमं कृत्स्नमवशं प्रकृतेर्वशात् ॥9.8॥
Transliteration
sarvabhūtāni kaunteya prakṛtiṃ yānti māmikām | kalpakṣaye punastāni kalpādau visṛjāmyaham ‖9.7‖ prakṛtiṃ svāmavaṣṭabhya visṛjāmi punaḥ punaḥ | bhūtagrāmamimaṃ kṛtsnamavaśaṃ prakṛtervaśāt ‖9.8‖
Meaning
“All beings, O son of Kunti, enter My nature at the end of a cycle; at the beginning of a cycle I send them forth again. Resting on My own nature, I send forth again and again this whole multitude of beings, helpless under nature's control.”
