Bhagavad Gita 6.41-42
Sanskrit
प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः । शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते ॥6.41॥अथवा योगिनामेव कुले भवति धीमताम् । एतद्धि दुर्लभतरं लोके जन्म यदीदृशम् ॥6.42॥
Transliteration
prāpya puṇyakṛtāṃ lokānuṣitvā śāśvatīḥ samāḥ | śucīnāṃ śrīmatāṃ gehe yogabhraṣṭo'bhijāyate ‖6.41‖ athavā yogināmeva kule bhavati dhīmatām | etaddhi durlabhataraṃ loke janma yadīdṛśam ‖6.42‖
Meaning
“Having attained the worlds of the righteous and dwelt there for countless years, the one fallen from yoga is reborn in the house of the pure and prosperous; or is born into a family of wise yogis, though such a birth is harder to obtain in this world.”
