Meaning

Those whose knowledge is carried away by various desires resort to other deities, following various rites, constrained by their own natures. Whatever form a devotee seeks to worship with faith, that very faith of theirs I make firm. Endowed with that faith, they engage in worship and obtain their desires, granted, in truth, by Me alone. But finite is the fruit of those of little understanding: worshippers of the gods go to the gods; My devotees come to Me.
