ye me matamidaṃ nityamanutiṣṭhanti mānavāḥ | śraddhāvanto'nasūyanto mucyante te'pi karmabhiḥ ‖3.31‖ ye tvetadabhyasūyanto nānutiṣṭhanti me matam | sarvajñānavimūḍhāṃstānviddhi naṣṭānacetasaḥ ‖3.32‖
Meaning
“Those who constantly follow this teaching of Mine, full of faith and without cavilling, are released from the bondage of actions. But those who carp at My teaching and do not follow it, know them, deluded in all knowledge, to be lost and senseless.”
Key learning
A teaching only helps you if you actually try it with an open mind. People who practice it sincerely get free from a lot of stress and trouble. People who just stand on the sidelines criticizing it never get its benefits. You can't judge something true until you've lived it.
How to apply this today
Give good advice a real, honest try before you decide it doesn't work. Doing something for thirty days teaches you more than reading thirty arguments about it. Don't become the kind of person who is great at picking things apart but never actually does anything. Try first, judge later.
