Meaning
“All these sons of Dhritarashtra, with hosts of kings, Bhishma, Drona, and that son of a charioteer, together with our own chief warriors, rush into Your mouths, terrible with tusks and fearful to behold; some are seen caught between the teeth, their heads crushed. As the many currents of rivers race toward the ocean, so these heroes of the world of men enter Your flaming mouths. As moths rush swiftly into a blazing fire to perish, so do these creatures swiftly enter Your mouths to perish. Devouring all the worlds on every side with Your flaming mouths, You lick them up; Your fierce rays fill the whole universe with radiance and scorch it, O Vishnu.”
