Transliteration
kārpaṇyadoṣopahatasvabhāvaḥ pṛcchāmi tvāṃ dharmasammūḍhacetāḥ | yacchreyaḥ syānniścitaṃ brūhi tanme śiṣyaste'haṃ śādhi māṃ tvāṃ prapannam
Meaning
“My very being is stricken with the taint of helplessness; my mind is confused about dharma. I ask you: tell me decisively what is good for me. I am your disciple, teach me, for I have taken refuge in you.”
Key learning
Arjuna finally stops arguing and admits: I'm lost, please teach me. Saying "I don't know, help me" isn't weakness. It's the doorway that lets real help in.
How to apply this today
The moment you can honestly say "I'm confused, please guide me" is when help can actually reach you. Stop defending your position long enough to ask a mentor a real question. Admitting you're stuck is the first step out of it.
