Meaning
“Arjuna said: What is the description of one of steady wisdom, established in concentration, O Keshava? How does the person of steady insight speak, how sit, how walk?”
Key learning
Arjuna finally asks the most practical question in the whole Gita: what does a truly wise, settled person actually look like? How do they talk, sit, and move? He wants a real picture to aim at, not more theory. This is a smart instinct, because abstract ideas inspire us briefly, but living examples actually change us. We become what we can clearly picture.
How to apply this today
Collect real-life examples of your ideals, not just principles. For each value you care about, like patience or courage, find one real person who lives it and watch how they handle interruptions, criticism, and loss. Before a hard situation, ask how that person would sit in this meeting or answer this insult, then borrow their posture. And remember someone may be watching how you act as their own example, so be worth copying.
