Bhagavad Gita 2.18

अन्तवन्त इमे देहा नित्यस्योक्ताः शरीरिणः । अनाशिनोऽप्रमेयस्य तस्माद्युध्यस्व भारत ॥2.18॥
Transliteration
antavanta ime dehā nityasyoktāḥ śarīriṇaḥ | anāśino'prameyasya tasmādyudhyasva bhārata ‖2.18‖
Meaning
“These bodies of the eternal, indestructible, immeasurable embodied Self are said to have an end. Therefore fight, O Bharata.”
Key learning
Bodies come to an end, but what wears them doesn't. So don't let the fear of loss stop you from doing what's right.
How to apply this today
Fear of an ending shouldn't paralyze you from doing your duty today. Knowing that nothing physical lasts forever can actually free you to act bravely now instead of freezing. Do what's right without being ruled by the fear of loss.
