Sanskrit
तत्क्षेत्रं यच्च यादृक्च यद्विकारि यतश्च यत् । स च यो यत्प्रभावश्च तत्समासेन मे शृणु ॥13.4॥ऋषिभिर्बहुधा गीतं छन्दोभिर्विविधैः पृथक् । ब्रह्मसूत्रपदैश्चैव हेतुमद्भिर्विनिश्चितैः ॥13.5॥
Transliteration
tatkṣetraṃ yacca yādṛkca yadvikāri yataśca yat | sa ca yo yatprabhāvaśca tatsamāsena me śṛṇu ‖13.4‖ ṛṣibhirbahudhā gītaṃ chandobhirvividhaiḥ pṛthak | brahmasūtrapadaiścaiva hetumadbhirviniścitaiḥ ‖13.5‖
Meaning
“Hear from Me briefly what that Field is, of what nature, what its modifications, whence it arises, and who the Knower is and what His powers are. This has been sung by the sages in many ways, in various distinct hymns, and in the well- reasoned, conclusive words of the Brahma-sutras.”
